<p>Previously H1 - H2</p> <p>The focal point in this Class is to <strong>develop proper Skating Technique</strong> and not meant as a Conditioning Class. <strong>The </strong>Elite Skating team are specialists in teaching <strong>Open Hips</strong> & <strong>V-Diamond</strong> stride technique. The focus is solely on developing proper skating skills & teaching players the theory behind the skills & technique so they can better identify with the power behind <strong>the mechanics of edge, power & stride</strong>. The theory is to begin by reducing the players’ speed by teaching them the correct way of skating. Shortly thereafter, the player is brought back up to speed; at which time we add the puck.
The outcome: Players will learn to develop an <strong>Elongated Stride</strong>, use <strong>Less</strong> energy at top speed that will yield results in a <strong>Faster SPEED</strong>! The First class will commence with working on basic forward and backward skating skills as the rest of our training structure is built off of the techniques that are covered after learning these two basic skills.</p> <p>**Full hockey gear required, including stick**
